EFSJ is offering more time for science writing associations across Europe to put forward their nominations for the European Science Journalist of the Year Award; individuals who publish their work in Europe can also enter.
The new deadline is 17 June 2023, and with a first prize of 1000 Euro, and 500 Euro each for the second and third-place winners, this award truly recognises those journalists who are writing scientific stories that make a difference to the general public.
When entering, we ask you to show off the variety and range of writing, by topic and method of reporting. The judges want to see three pieces of work (translated into English please) and the individual’s CV; if an association is putting forward their nomination then we would also like a supporting letter from them.
For further guidance on eligibility and rules, please refer to the Award Policy and Guidelines.
Deadline for submissions: 17 June 2023, 23:59 CET.
