We publish here the very interesting slides used by Professor Anne Glover (*) to provide an account of her very challenging experience as first Chief Scientific Adviser to the President of the European Commission.
At the end of July we had publicly asked the new President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker to name a successor to the post in an open letter (it is displayed on slide 92 in Anne Glover’s speech), but he replied with a very kind and generic letter, and after few weeks he finally decided to kill the post.
